I always just kind of enjoyed Monarch Mtn ... a really mellow discovery I made on Bandcamp. However, this disc is something else ... I just keep coming back to it. Amazing and depressing with the perfect amount of melody and singing. Truly great music. Tim McLelland

Michael Grigoni's 'Mount Carmel' is the best thing to happen to lap / pedal steel based music in a while. Such attention to detail in every note, not a sound is wasted. Alive and energizing yet meditative and somber all at the same time. Lost Tribe Sound
